California Licensed Associate General Counsel

Key Responsibilities: Advise on legal and regulatory issues affecting consumer lending, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and support product development with legal requirements Design and implement the company-wide compliance management system, overseeing compliance activities related to consumer protection, lending, and privacy Monitor legal developments, manage compliance training, and prepare reports for the General Counsel and Board of Directors on compliance performance and risks

Required Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar Minimum of five years of relevant legal and compliance experience, with knowledge of corporate laws and transactions preferred Experience building and managing operational compliance programs, with strong knowledge of consumer financial protection requirements Familiarity with BSA/AML, KYC, state privacy laws, and experience in drafting contracts and consumer agreements Ability to communicate complex legal requirements clearly and manage competing priorities effectively
