Job Description:
  • Property Accountant$75,000 - $85,000 annually
  • Hybrid Schedule (2-3 days onsite per week)

Hire Connections is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing property management organization, seeking an experienced Property Accountant to support a portfolio of residential properties. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and budget support.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform full-cycle accounting for assigned properties
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit activities
  • Monitor cash balances and assist with cash management
  • Partner with property management teams to review financial performance
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of property, real estate, or multifamily accounting experience
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
