Accounting & Business Manager -New York: Biglaw Agency

Attorney & Partner-Level Legal Recuriting agency seeks an immeidate Accounting & Business Manager. Currently we have 20 employees and other vendor relationships. We are considering hiring a partner with their own practice or with a larger business management/Accounting firm. The right person has at least 7-10 years of hard accounting and business management. Someone who does most all of their own work. Rather than delegate to admin staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all areas of the business including financial management, business operations, reconciliating the books for quarterly tax prepation. This includes managing AMEX, keeping bank accounts current, overseeing and securing proper insurances, traking invoicing and seeing bills are paid on time, maintainign and interpreting law firm fee agreements, handling wire payments both inbound and outbound, paying vendors while always seeking value for the firm. In addition must be highly organize, meticulous, able to source and oversee vendors in all areas - ones related to several properties (both office and homes). Familiarity and interest in Biglaw and major law firm clients a plus. Someone who sticks with jobs and people. Must have an accounting degree, a bachelors degree.
