Guiding ambitious high school students pursuing competitive BS/MD programs, the part-time BS/MD College Admissions Counselor will develop individualized admissions strategies, manage a caseload of students, and provide comprehensive support throughout the application process in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities: Stay current on college admissions trends and requirements for top 50 universities and BS/MD programs Manage a caseload of approximately 20-25 students, developing academic and extracurricular roadmaps Guide students through the full application process, including personal statements and supplemental essays
Required qualifications: Experience working with BS/MD applicants and at least 5 acceptances Bachelor's degree from a top 50 national university; advanced degrees are a plus College counseling experience with a successful track record for top 50 university admissions Strong knowledge of selective college admissions and application strategies Consistent availability after 3:00 p.m. and/or on weekends
