Seeking a full-time California Licensed Staff Accountant, the remote position will manage accounting functions related to federal grants, assist with financial reporting, and conduct compliance reviews for subrecipients across California.
Key responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise on federal compliance related to government grants, including 2 CFR 200 regulations Help prepare financial statements and quarterly government reports (SF-425) Complete fiscal desk reviews of subrecipients, ensuring compliance with financial controls and federal guidance
Required qualifications: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Relevant BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience in finance or accounting Ability to interpret and apply accounting theory to transactions Strong analytical skills
