Key Responsibilities:
Manages clinical denials, including claim resubmission, authorization verification, and appeals
Collaborates with the Managed Care team and payers to reduce denials and enhance reimbursement
Analyzes denied claims to identify root causes and implements strategies for performance improvement
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
One of the following coding certifications required: CPC, COC, RHIT, RHIA, or CCS
One to two years of coding experience required
One to two years of denial management and/or insurance-related experience required
