Work Environment: This position is based onsite at our Stephens City rehabilitation facility, where the work setting is collaborative and patient-focused. The team atmosphere allows for open communication between therapists and continuous learning opportunities. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while managing patient care.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient needs and rehabilitation goals, ensuring personalized treatment plans. Manage a case load of two to three patients per hour, providing each patient with tailored interventions that promote mobility, flexibility, strength, and function. Utilize an array of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based techniques to facilitate patient recovery, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assistive devices. Develop and implement wellness and fitness regimens customized to enhance patient outcomes and lead to healthier lifestyles. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, addressing patient care plans that align with overall health objectives. Document patient interactions meticulously using EMR software such as WebPT to track progress and facilitate continuity of care. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, fostering a supportive environment that encourages patient independence and engagement in their own recovery. Regularly assess and document patient progress, modifying therapeutic interventions accordingly to align with evolving patient needs. Patient Population / Client FocusOur clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience with a diverse patient population and a passion for helping individuals regain their strength and vitality through tailored rehabilitation strategies. Our commitment to patient care entails working closely with insurance providers to ensure our services are accessible, emphasizing a mostly private health insurance model.

Qualifications: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required. A valid Virginia Physical Therapist License, with no disciplinary actions or board actions against it. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT is essential for effective patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.
