To support a growing actuarial team, the full-time Actuarial Manager, Medicare will own the monthly results process for ACO REACH/LEAD and MSSP populations, manage payer settlement reconciliations, and lead high-priority analyses, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities: Own the end-to-end monthly results process, including data coordination and claims reserving for value-based programs Review and reconcile payer settlement calculations against contract terms, identifying discrepancies to support annual savings targets Lead special projects and coach analysts, enhancing team capacity and quality of work through mentorship and technical direction
Required qualifications: 6+ years of actuarial experience, with 8+ years preferred ASA or FSA designation and a Bachelor's degree Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage and Value-Based Care concepts Experience with reserving and forecasting, and ability to lead work in these areas Proficiency in Excel and SQL, with experience applying AI tools to actuarial work preferred
