Key responsibilities:
Process payments, adjustments, claims, and denials accurately and timely while coordinating with team members and physician offices
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, appeals, and account balances to maximize reimbursement
Provide excellent customer service to patients and internal clients, responding to billing inquiries and educating on payment issues
Required qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
Minimum of one year of experience in patient financial services or medical claims
Experience with submitting appeals and understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
Strong knowledge of common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision
