To support a leading global technology company's Payments Platform, the full-time Contract Product Counsel will provide legal guidance on payments infrastructure, financial regulations, and fraud prevention while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on payment infrastructure, local payment methods, and partner integrations across multiple jurisdictions
Provide legal guidance on payment regulations, financial integrity, and chargeback management
Counsel cross-functional teams on payment product development and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (or equivalent international qualification)
5+ years of legal experience with significant exposure to payments, fintech, or financial regulatory matters
Experience advising on payment processing and financial technology products
Familiarity with card network rules and modern payment ecosystems
Experience counseling technology companies on product-integrated legal and regulatory issues
