To support global operations, the full-time Associate General Counsel will provide strategic employment counsel to PeopleOps and Talent, advise on complex employee relations matters, and develop jurisdiction-specific guardrails for hiring while working remotely across multiple time zones.
Key responsibilities:
Serve as the primary legal partner to PeopleOps and Talent, guiding the employee lifecycle from hiring to separations
Develop practical, jurisdiction-specific guardrails for hiring and support entry into new markets
Monitor emerging employment regulations and provide actionable guidance to leadership
Required qualifications:
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to at least one US state bar
12+ years of relevant legal experience with a focus on global employment laws
Experience advising HR and Talent teams on employment matters across multiple jurisdictions
Proven track record in managing local outside counsel and employment disputes
Excellent legal judgment and ability to deliver practical, solutions-oriented advice
