Hospital Collection Representative

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Hospital Collections Representative for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a high-profile healthcare client. This Hospital Collections Representative role offers the opportunity to work with a large hospital revenue cycle team focused on reducing AR, resolving claim issues, and driving cash collections. The ideal Hospital Collections Representative will have prior hospital collections experience, strong knowledge of payer reimbursement guidelines, and the ability to navigate denials, underpayments, and complex accounts. High-performing consultants may have the opportunity for long-term engagement and potential conversion based on business needs and performance. Work and prioritize aging AR accounts. Follow up on outstanding hospital claims. Research denials, underpayments, and payment delays. Contact payers to resolve reimbursement issues. Submit appeals and corrected claims. Review EOBs and remittance advice. Document account activity and follow-up efforts. Meet productivity, quality, AR, and cash goals. Support collection and revenue cycle initiatives.
