Key responsibilities:
Lead the annual ICFR Program risk assessment and scoping process, monitoring significant changes and reporting control deficiencies
Partner with the business to remediate significant deficiencies and support external auditors during public company readiness assessments
Develop communications for key stakeholders and implement internal controls testing functions to enhance the effectiveness of financial reporting controls
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification
Six or more years of experience in the Life & Annuities industry, focusing on public companies
Strong understanding of US GAAP and US Statutory Accounting Principles
Ability to design and present information effectively to senior management and auditors
