Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in our retail store. In this role, you’ll guide customers in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories, while promoting lessons and store programs. You’ll provide exceptional, student-focused service, process sales and rentals, maintain merchandising and inventory standards, and support outreach to local schools. Provide student-focused sales support for instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories Advise customers on instrument selection and lesson offerings Process sales, rentals, returns, and service transactions accurately Maintain merchandising, displays, and stock levels on the sales floor Support inventory counts and product organization Promote lessons, special programs, and events to students and parents Collaborate with store and school service staff to support local music programs Deliver high-quality customer service to students, parents, and educators Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals Uphold store policies, procedures, and brand standards Point-of-sale (POS) systems Retail sales Customer service Cash handling and reconciliation Product knowledge of musical instruments and accessories Inventory management Merchandising and display Lesson and rental program enrollment Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, databases) Communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Background in music performance or education preferred Retail or customer service experience in music or related fields preferred
